Dream Boots

Finally, I have invested in the perfect pair of leather boots (these were originally $159 and I got them for $89). I normally wouldn't go for a cowboy styled boot, but I fell in love with how these were crafted. They are real leather, sturdy, and have a great shape. To me they are unique from what is trending at the moment with their thick stitching and leather cut-outs but also still having the pointed toe shape that has been extremely popular this past year. The boots wear extremely comfortably and after a couple days I can already feel the leather shaping to my feet. With the cut of the boot above the ankle bone there is no chance these will rub you the wrong way.

Paired with certain outfits these boots will give the perfect final touch; you can get very boho, classy, or even contemporary vibes depending how you style the outfit around them. To showcase their first form, and the fact they are inspired by cowboy boots, I came up with this look featuring my new lace-up bodysuit from VIS AND VIS, and this amazing corduroy a-line skirt. The look is definitely boho inspired but I went for some more clean and crisp silhouettes with the black skirt, high socks, and hat. Obviously, I threw on my favourite silver jewelry and a brown nude lip to add those small details.

Recently, I modelled for their new website, visandvis.ca, and I was kindly gifted this bodysuit from their line of beautiful pieces. I worked with some amazingly creative people and shot so many beautifully styled outfits and I will be lucky enough to put them up on this blog in a post hopefully very soon to come!

As always thanks for reading and I wish you a very happy and productive 2016!
