What I Would Have Worn: Fashion Week

Though it's been hard to follow every event at the fashion weeks over the last month, I did get inspired to style an outfit that I might have worn to a day at London fashion week. One of Samantha Maria's fashion week outfits definitely gave me some inspiration here, but I am loving this look. I found this crisp white dress in the Zara sale and instantly felt drawn to styling it in an interesting way because the asymmetric layered skirt is really current with the ruffle trend this year. I know that bold colour is enormous on the runway this year, but I still find that neutral colours are a lot more relevant to my personal style which is why instead I'm using a more dramatic silhouette than I would typically wear.
I continued the asymmetry through out the entire outfit by adding my Instax Mini case with a crossbody strap along with a single statement earring to balance the elements. Yes, I am wearing penny loafers, and yes I was going for the Gucci loafer kind of vibe. I find that loafers without socks and a higher cut off pant really elongates the leg and I can't get enough. If I had them on hand, I definitely would have added a pair of black fishnet tights underneath to add a little juxtaposition in the look.
I hope you enjoyed this look, let me know if you would like to see anything specific styled on this blog, and be sure to check out my youtube channel for weekly uploads!
Thanks for sticking with me,
